My Son 1 & My Son 2 solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 100MW in My Son commune, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province have been energized and put into operation since 2020. These are two factories owned by BG Energy Solution, a member company of Bangkok Glass Public Co., Ltd from Thailand and BB Group – a major investor in the field of renewable energy in Vietnam.

After 1 year of energizing and putting into operation, this is an important time to carry out periodic testing of the plant to assess the condition and quality of equipment. With the specific nature of solar power plants that can only cut off power at night, ACEE technicians have carried out maintenance continuously for 14 nights. By the night of November 9, 2021, ACEE officially completed the testing and periodical inspection for all electrical equipment of 2 110kV substations and 18 inverter substations of My Son 1 & 2 Solar Power Plant.

For some members of ACEE’s construction team, experiencing the challenge of working 14 nights in a row for the first time, which we call a “Journey through the Night”, like a test of fitness, spirit and solidarity of the members. With the spirit of enthusiastic work, the final result we receive is the absolute trust of the investor. In particular, the ACEE construction team provided the investor with test results and necessary information about the condition of the equipment and the quality of the equipment to help the investor take measures to improve the safe and reliable operation of the equipment, and at the same time, safely and successfully re-energize the entire plant.
